Virtual Material Art

Main requirements:

A dynamic session that gives the player a simulation of fighting in a match with a smart AI

NPC.

A static session that guides the player on how to execute martial arts maneuvers in an

adequately manner by mimicking the AI NPC.

Product:

- The product of this project is a “Beta Version“ or also in game terms “demo” of that show

the fundamental properties of the gameplay and experience.

- The game is a VR game that feature two main functionalities:

a teaching session that the player learns to copy specific movements from a model.

a fighting simulator with a smart AI opponent that adjust the difficulty of the session

according to the player performance.

Product Results:

The game environment is friendly and appealing to the player so he will use it and feel

comfortable developing their skills in. The AI appearance is meant to not be taken seriously so

the overall gameplay will be encouraging to have fun and learn as well.

Virtual martial arts game includes:

1. Menu to choose/add /remove player.

2. Menu to navigate through the different sessions.

3. Graph that show player progress.

4. Static session that feature a series of movements for the player to copy.

5. Dynamic session that the player will fight the AI in a friendly battle.

6. Credit view of the people that helps along the way.

The project’s goal is to provide a platform of educational

game for material arts learning using a virtual reality

technology.

The game provides a tutoring virtual

environment that guides users who wish to learn actual

maneuvers and skills of material arts through the VR world.
